Carolyn has enjoyed her commitment to serving the state of Rhode Island within the real estate industry for more than twenty years. Carolyn came to Moore Properties in 1986, following a fifteen-year career as a legal secretary, specializing in real estate, probate and trusts for Gorham & Gorham. A Multi-Million Dollar Award recipient for several years, Carolyn’s dedication to client-focused service has allowed her to become a highly effective real estate agent. A Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and a Certified Resident Specialist (CRS), Carolyn’s credentials in the real estate industry are extensive. She serves as the vice chairperson of the Rhode Island Real Estate Commission, to which she was appointed in 1999 by Governor Lincoln Almond and reappointed in 2005 by Governor Donald Carcieri. As well, Carolyn is the chairperson of the Education Committee for the Rhode Island Real Estate Commission, where she was actively involved in defining the mandatory education courses for realtors, an act recently passed by the State Legislature. Carolyn currently serves on the Professional Standards Committee for Kent County Board of Realtors, Professional Standards for State of Rhode Island and formerly served on the Grievance Committee. A member of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, Carolyn presently serves on the Kent County Board of Directors.
A life-long Rhode Islander, Carolyn graduated from Cranston High School and Bryant University. She and her husband, Gordon, have resided in South County for forty years, where she remains actively involved in her community. She is a member of the Corporation for the South County Hospital, a member of the South County Garden Club, a member of the Point Judith Country Club and a member of the Saunderstown Yacht Club. Her interests include gardening, skiing and golf.
Carolyn’s intense commitment to providing quality service to her clients, coupled with her vast experience within the real estate industry yields a highly effective, winning combination.
